...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GADSDEN...
SOUTHEASTERN DECATUR AND SOUTHWESTERN GRADY COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM
EDT...

At 1237 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Havana, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Havana, Quincy, Attapulgus, Freemont, Littman, Darsey, Florence,
Concord, Scotland, Jamieson, Laingkat, Calvary, Shady Rest, Reno,
Amsterdam, Quincy Airport, Branchville, Nickleville, Hinson, and
Dogtown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
