At 250 PM EDT/150 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of Eglin Air
Force Base to 7 miles east of Vernon. These storms were nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Vernon, De Funiak Springs, Eglin Air Force Base, Union, Liberty, Live
Oak, Freeport, Paxton, Ponce De Leon, Westville, Ebro, Oakwood Hills,
Cluster Springs, Whitehead Crossroads, Villa Tasso, Rock Hill,
Glendale, Holmes Valley, Millers Ferry, and Pleasant Ridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
