.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Winds will be easterly today around 10-15 mph along the coast. Surf
heights will generally be around 1 foot, but approaching 2 feet for
our Franklin County beaches. This will lead to a moderate risk for rip
currents at all beaches. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible
along and over the waters today.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

West Facing Gulf Beaches......Yellow
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Yellow
