.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS FOR BAY COUNTY BEACHES...

Gusty thunderstorm winds could approach the beaches late this
afternoon and evening.  A moderate rip current risk is expected
through Sunday, though surf and winds may be maximized along the Bay
County beaches today. As such, a high rip current risk is expected
today for Bay County. As southwest flow ramps up early next week, the
rip current risk may become high by Monday afternoon, possibly
lingering into Tuesday, mainly for the Emerald Coast beaches.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

West Facing Gulf Beaches......Yellow
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Yellow
