Surf Zone Forecast
National Weather Service Tallahassee FL
227 AM EDT Wed Jun 5 2024

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Southerly to southwesterly winds around 5-10 knots will build to 10-15
knots through the afternoon as the seabreeze circulation. This will
lead to a brief surge of surf heights of around 2 feet at Bay and
Walton beaches, and around 1-2 feet at Gulf and Franklin beaches
today. Fortunately, the waves periods will not be at or above 6
seconds, which will keep the risk for rip currents moderate through
today at all area beaches.
