.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and storms are expected to develop by late afternoon
as the west coast sea breeze spreads inland with an isolated hail and damaging
wind threat in place. Before this activity develops, winds will generally be out
of the southwest with very deep mixing heights reaching over 8000 ft AGL by
mid afternoon. The deep mixing heights will support generally good dispersion
conditions, though transport winds will be on the lighter side. In addition, minimum
RH values will bottom out around the low 40s by mid afternoon with precipitation
tapering off by mid to late evening.
