...FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL EXPIRE AT 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch will expire for a portion of central Montana,
including the following areas, Big Belt, Bridger and Castle
Mountains and Canyon Ferry Area.

Rain has moved out of the area and the flash flooding threat has
ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood Watch will expire at 6 PM MDT this
evening.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Montana, including
  the following areas, in central Montana, Little Belt and Highwood
  Mountains and Snowy and Judith Mountains. In north central
  Montana, Bears Paw Mountains and Southern Blaine, Fergus County
  below 4500ft and Judith Basin County and Judith Gap.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected to continue
    through Wednesday evening. Areas of flooding are possible,
    especially in low lying areas prone to ponding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
