050 FNUS55 KTFX 250851 FWFTFX Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana National Weather Service Great Falls MT 251 AM MDT Tue Jun 25 2024 .DISCUSSION... Today`s high temperatures range right around normal for all of our fire weather zones, except zone 118, where highs range about 10 degrees above normal. Similarly, the minimum Relative Humidity (RH) values for most of our fire weather zones are forecast in the 20% to 30% range. The exceptions are zones 116 and 118, where the minimum RH values fall into the teens. Today, southwesterly to westerly gusty winds shift northwesterly to northeasterly around noon, and then during tonight`s evening hours, winds shift easterly. Tomorrow, winds shift southeasterly, and then return southwesterly. Wind speeds remain below fire critical levels. While today is forecast dry, beginning tomorrow, daily afternoon and evening rain showers and thunderstorms develop and move through the area. Strong erratic gusty winds, hail and periods of heavy downpours may accompany these storms. - Fogleman MTZ112-252245- Eastern Glacier/Toole/Central/Eastern Pondera/Liberty- 251 AM MDT Tue Jun 25 2024 .TODAY... * Sky/Weather...........Sunny. * Max Temperature.......70-76...62-69 higher elevations. 24 hr trend......6 degrees down. * Min Humidity..........26-32 percent. 24 hr trend......13 percent up...6 percent up higher elevations. * Wind (20 FT).
