.DISCUSSION...
Today is the warmest day of this forecast period, with low elevation
high temperatures ranging from the upper 80s to mid 90s. Drying
continues through tomorrow when minimum relative humidity values
range in the teens to low 20s across our fire weather zones.
Westerly fire critical winds are forecast to impact fire weather
zone 112, today and tomorrow, with the strongest winds forecast this
afternoon and evening. Afternoon and evening thunderstorms
develop. Today, some thunderstorms may become severe, producing
erratic high winds, large hail and frequent lightning. The best
chance for thunderstorm activity, today, is forecast across the
eastern portions of fire weather zones 113, 115 and 117.
