...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN TETON AND
NORTHWESTERN CASCADE COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM MDT...

At 434 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Choteau, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Choteau, Dutton, and Power.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
central and north central Montana.
