...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LEWIS AND CLARK...
CENTRAL PONDERA...SOUTHEASTERN GLACIER...SOUTHWESTERN TOOLE AND
WESTERN TETON COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM MDT...

At 222 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Valier to 32 miles
northeast of Seeley Lake. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shelby, Conrad, Valier, Dupuyer, Pishkun Reservoir, Bynum, and
Pendroy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
north central Montana.
