...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN TETON AND
NORTHWESTERN CASCADE COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM MDT...

At 641 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fort Shaw, or 17 miles northwest of Cascade, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail and very heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort  Shaw, Fort Shaw, and Sun River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
