...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LEWIS AND CLARK...
SOUTHEASTERN TETON AND NORTHWESTERN CASCADE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM
MDT...

At 620 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fort Shaw to 15 miles southeast of
Augusta. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort  Shaw, Fort Shaw, Bowmans Corner, Simms, and Sun River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
