This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, north central Kansas, and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

This afternoon, a heat advisory is in effect for portions of north
central Kansas where heat index values could reach up to 105
degrees.

Tonight, isolated thunderstorms may be possible along the highway
36 corridor. A couple storms could become severe producing mostly
a wind threat and may also produce small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A heat advisory is in effect along and south of a line from Holton
to Manhattan to Minneapolis. Heat index values could reach as high
as 109 degrees.

A cold front will work into the area around midday. Severe storms
are possible by mid to late afternoon across the area. All hazards
will be possible which include large hail, damaging wind, a
couple of tornadoes, and heavy rainfall.

Weather spotters are encouraged to relay reports of hail, damaging
wind, and flooding.
