...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DICKINSON AND SOUTHEASTERN OTTAWA
COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 916 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Niles to 4 miles north of Canton. Movement
was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Abilene, Herington, Chapman, Solomon, Enterprise, Hope, Woodbine,
Manchester, Carlton, Niles, Moonlight, and Talmage.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 267 and 289.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central, north central and east central Kansas.
