...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN GEARY...NORTHEASTERN MORRIS AND SOUTHWESTERN
WABAUNSEE COUNTIES...

At 607 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles northeast of White City to near Dwight to 5
miles north of Council Grove Lake, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Council Grove, White City, Alta Vista, Dwight, Parkerville, and
Council Grove Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
