...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTHWESTERN MARSHALL COUNTIES...

At 604 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles northeast of Morrowville to 4 miles south of
Hollenberg to 3 miles northeast of Barnes, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Washington, Hanover, Barnes, Oketo, Hollenberg, and Bremen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Kansas.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
