showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally in
northwest Arkansas and also east of a Eufaula to Hugo line.
Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in Franklin,
Sebastian and Madison counties in Arkansas. The precipitation was in
the Fort Smith area. The precipitation was in the Bentonville,
Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was to the east at around 30
mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was around one
quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two
inches. Coverage and intensity decreased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and into this evening,
cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 69
to 76 degrees and southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
