At 442 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly northwest of
a line from Hugo to Fayetteville. Thunderstorms with locally heavy
rain were located in Nowata, Wagoner and Cherokee counties in
Oklahoma. Movement was to the south at around 25 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch
with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two inches. Coverage,
and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for late tonight and early this morning, mostly cloudy then
becoming mostly sunny, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with
temperatures 76 to 81 degrees and south winds up to 10 mph.
