EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
High pressure aloft will bring increasing heat and humidity
back to the region for the weekend and into early next week.
Widespread triple digit heat indices are expected, with potential
for heat stress impacts. Heat headlines will likely be needed.

As the upper level high pressure shifts west of the region,
thunderstorm chances will increase, especially toward the middle
of next week. Some relief from the heat may arrive for the latter
part of next week.
