RISK...Significant. AREA...Areawide. ONSET...This afternoon. AREA AT GREATEST RISK...Much of Eastern Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas. DISCUSSION... Dangerously hot and humid conditions will continue today ahead of a frontal boundary forecast to sag southward into the region this afternoon. Thunderstorm chances also return this afternoon, mainly north of Interstate 40 with the frontal boundary moving into the region. A few storms could produce damaging downburst winds and heavy rainfall during the late afternoon and evening hours. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
