.DISCUSSION...Skies will be partly cloudy this afternoon. Isolated
thunderstorms are possible across southwestern South Dakota late.
Highs will be in the 90s with minimum relative humidity ranging
from around 20 percent in far western South Dakota to around 40
percent in central South Dakota. Winds will be north-northwest south
10 to 20 mph.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Tuesday afternoon, The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
