...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL BUTTE...WEST
CENTRAL MEADE AND NORTHEASTERN LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM
MDT...

At 248 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Whitewood, or 9 miles northwest of Sturgis, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Vale around 315 PM MDT.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 18
and 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
