...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA...
SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON AND SOUTHEASTERN PENNINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 715
PM MDT...

At 623 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Badlands National Park, or 40 miles west of Kadoka,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Potato Creek, Interior, and southeastern Badlands National Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
west central South Dakota.
