.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry weather continues this afternoon.
Today will see increased wet thunderstorm chances over
the Kuskokwim Valley to the Kuskokwim Mtns and into the Lower
Yukon, where widely scattered to scattered wet thunderstorms are
expected. These storms will be fairly wet but may quite a bit of
lightning given the instability and the presence of a subtle
disturbance. Some will produce very gusty winds and moderate sized
hail. Wet thunderstorm chances expand across the Interior
Tue, with scattered wet thunderstorms from Huslia to Hughes.
There will be a moderate chance for wetting rains as
well. A cold front will push north winds over the Seward Pen and
colder air tonight through Tue night with a chance of showers,
low stratus along with much higher humidity.
