.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms will be more isolated today
as the thermal trough weakens.
Today, atmospheric ridging continues to build over the Alaskan
Interior increasing temperatures and reducing minimum relative
humidities this weekend. Winds remain relatively light throughout
the period with some stronger westerly winds from Ambler to
Allakaket each afternoon from today to Saturday night. This
warming will be more pronounced in the Western Interior than along
the coast where sea breezes will keep temps moderate.
