Subject: Decommissioning of w2.weather.gov on or about July 23,
2024

On or about July 23, 2024, https://w2.weather.gov and redirects
from w2.weather.gov will be decommissioned.  The content found
on w2.weather.gov is currently being hosted on weather.gov or
redirected to other locations.

On the implementation date, the following redirects will no
longer work and users should update their bookmarks and
documentation to reflect the new URLs:

https://w2.weather.gov/climate
https://w2.weather.gov/jetstream

The replacement sites are:

https://weather.gov/wrh/climate
https://noaa.gov/jetstream

With the exception below, w2.weather.gov can be replaced with
weather.gov to continue to find the same content.

https://w2.weather.gov/xml/current_obs/display.php?stid=XXXX

where XXXX is an observation station identifier.  For this
specific request, w2.weather.gov should be replaced with
forecast.weather.gov.
