Subject: Changes to the Atlantic Tropical Weather Discussion
Issuance Times Effective On or About December 2, 2024

Effective on or around Monday, December 2, 2024, the Atlantic
Tropical Weather Discussion (TWDAT) issuance times will move
forward by 10 minutes. This text-based discussion is issued by
the National Hurricane Centers (NHC) Tropical Analysis and
Forecast Branch (TAFB), four times per day. The TWDAT describes
significant weather features, areas of disturbed weather,
expected trends, the meteorological reasoning behind the
forecast, model performance, and in some cases a degree of
confidence.

The issuance time change is being made to ensure a better
quality product by accommodating deadlines associated with other
critical products. The new issuance times of the TWDAT will be
0015 UTC, 0615 UTC, 1215 UTC and 1815 UTC beginning on or around
December 2, 2024.
