Maximum heat index values of 100 to 104 degrees are possible each afternoon, primarily along the I-77 corridor and the Upper Savannah River Valley. These hot and humid conditions will present an increased risk of heat-related illness for those who are sensitive to heat and to those without access to air conditioning.
