.DISCUSSION...
Winds will be weaker overall today. Mostly cloudy skies are forecast
both today and Sunday, with a high temperature around 8 degrees
below the 1991-2020 average, and numerous showers and thunderstorms
both days. There is a good chance the fire will accumulate around
0.25-0.50" of rain again today, then around 0.10-0.25" Sunday.
However, some thunderstorms will be capable of locally heavy rain at
a rate over 1 inch per half hour today, and over 1 inch per hour
Sunday, so the rainfall total could be significantly higher.
Localized, erratic, and brief wet microburst wind gusts could reach
50 mph both today and Sunday. Moisture will recycle Monday and
Tuesday with daily rounds of scattered showers and thunderstorms.
