...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN MCKINLEY AND SOUTHWESTERN
SAN JUAN COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM MDT...

At 332 PM MDT, the public reported strong thunderstorms along a line
extending from near Fort Defiance to Black Rock. Movement was north
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Public.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gallup, Zuni Pueblo, Nakaibito, Vanderwagen, Yah-Ta-Hey, Brimhall
Nizhoni, Black Rock, Fort Wingate, Ramah, and McGaffey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Heavy rains will cause water to pond on roads and in low spots. Fast
running water will quickly fill arroyos and ditches.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibilities below one quarter mile at times.
