SOUTHEASTERN SAN MIGUEL...NORTHERN DE BACA...QUAY...SOUTHWESTERN
CURRY AND NORTHEASTERN GUADALUPE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 614 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles south of Conchas to 10 miles west of
Sumner Lake. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tucumcari, Fort Sumner, Quay, San Jon, House, Ragland, Montoya,
Newkirk, Taiban, and Cuervo.

This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 82 and 105.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Heavy rains will cause water to pond on roads and in low spots. Fast
running water will quickly fill arroyos and ditches.
