...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTY THROUGH
430 PM MDT...

At 352 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southwest of Dexter, or 18 miles south of Roswell, moving
northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Roswell, Dexter, Greenfield, and Roswell Correctional
Facility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
