...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTY THROUGH
430 PM MDT...

At 343 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Roswell, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Chaves
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
