...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL COUNTY
UNTIL 415 PM MDT...

At 352 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tecolote, or 10 miles south of Las Vegas, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Las Vegas, Romeroville, Tecolote, San Agustin and Los Montoyas.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 335 and 344.
State Road 104 between Mile Markers 1 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
