Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible through mid- morning and again late this afternoon into tonight. A couple of storms could turn strong to severe, especially from the James Valley and points east late this afternoon through late evening. High pressure will gradually build in on Wednesday and return dry conditions to the area. Another storm system arriving by late this week will bring in additional chances for more rainfall. This afternoon`s lowest relative humidity values will bottom out around 30 to 35 percent from the Leola Hills area west into north central South Dakota.
