...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN STANLEY AND
NORTHWESTERN HUGHES COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 AM CDT...

At 1144 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fort Pierre, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pierre, Fort Pierre, Grey Goose, Overlook Rec Area, and West Shore
Rec Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
