Showers and thunderstorms will move into the southern listening area
late tonight and spread northeastward through Monday morning. A few
of these storms could become strong to severe overnight with large
hail being the main threat, mainly over the southern portions of the
region. Monday, showers and thunderstorms will be ongoing with the
threat of strong to severe storms once again over the entire
listening area. Large hail and wind gusts of 60-70 mph will be the
main threats. A moderate risk (40%) for excessive rainfall/flooding
exists over far northeastern SD into west central MN for Monday into
Monday night where 2"+ could fall.

Highs for today will range in the mid to upper 70s to mid 80s across
the region. Lows tonight will drop into the 50s. Much cooler for
Monday with highs in the upper 60s to the lower 70s.
