.DISCUSSION...

West to southwest winds are forecast to diminish tonight with the
set up of an inversion. Winds return stronger on Tuesday. While
this moderates temperature and humidity somewhat, with highs in
the low 70s and minimum RH near 40 percent, conditions will
nonetheless be critical for fire weather. Wetting rains arrive
Tuesday night, bringing much cooler conditions and increased
moisture for Wednesday. Southwesterly winds sustained near 15 mph
continue through Friday while cool, moist conditions with
continued rain chances last into the weekend.
