POWHATAN COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF RICHMOND THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 416 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bumpass to near Chula. Movement was east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Oilville, Montpelier, and Sabot around 420 PM EDT.
  Ladysmith and Manakin around 425 PM EDT.
  Tuckahoe and Wyndham around 430 PM EDT.
  Richmond, Ashland, Milford, and Bon Air around 440 PM EDT.
  Bowling Green, Randolph Macon College, University Of Richmond,
  Laurel, Kings Dominion, and Glen Allen around 445 PM EDT.
  Lakeside around 450 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Chilesburg,
Golansville, Crozier, Pilkinton, Vontay, Maidens, Gum Tree, Johnsons
Springs, Elmont, and Penola.
