...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN RANDALL...EASTERN
OLDHAM...NORTHEASTERN DEAF SMITH AND SOUTHWESTERN POTTER COUNTIES
THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1122 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Adrian, or 11 miles west of Vega, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vega, Adrian, Boys Ranch, and Wildorado.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 20 and 54.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
