Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
321 AM EDT Thu Jun 27 2024

...Rain-free weather into Friday afternoon...

.DISCUSSION...High pressure building into the region will make for sunny skies and
rain-free weather today into Friday afternoon before chances for
showers and a few storms return later Friday afternoon into
Saturday. Northwest winds between 5-10 mph will be in place today
with gusts to around 15 mph at times this afternoon. The exception
to this will be areas near the Lake Huron shoreline south of Presque
Isle as lake breeze formation is expected to push inland this
afternoon. High temperatures in the mid 60s to low 70s are
anticipated for most areas today. While areas may see RHs lower into
the 30-40 percent range this afternoon, critical/near-critical RHs
are not expected over the next several days.
