.SYNOPSIS...
A compact disturbance in the mid and upper levels of the
atmosphere will move east from the Niagara Peninsula and
help to generate isolated to scattered showers and
thunderstorms that will persist into the evening hours across
the Finger Lakes Region and Southern Tier of New York. Little
or no precipitation further to the east.

Hot and humid conditions will continue through the remainder of
this week, with the highest temperatures arriving Tuesday and
persisting with little relief through the rest of the week.
