...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LACKAWANNA...SOUTHWESTERN
WAYNE...LUZERNE...WEST CENTRAL PIKE AND SOUTHERN WYOMING COUNTIES
THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 314 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Tompkinsville to Slabtown. Movement was east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Hazleton, Muhlenberg, Dunmore,
Kingston, Nanticoke, Plains, and Carbondale.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 80 between 256 and 273.
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 143 and 202.
 Interstate 84 between 1 and 20.
 Interstate 380 between 13 and 24.
 Interstate 476 between 105 and 131.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
