...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SULLIVAN...EAST
CENTRAL WAYNE AND NORTH CENTRAL PIKE COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM EDT...

At 206 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Honesdale, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lackawaxen, Honesdale, Tusten, Hawley, Prompton, Bethany, Lava,
Narrowsburg, Seelyville, and Beach Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
