...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ONEIDA COUNTY THROUGH
1045 AM EDT...

At 1004 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Vienna, or near Camden, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rome, Lee, Westmoreland, Vienna, Floyd, Whitesboro, Camden, Oriskany,
Sylvan Beach, and Stittville.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 90 near 32.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
