A band of showers will move from the northwest this morning into central North Dakota this afternoon, before clearing to the east this evening. High temperatures today are expected to be from the lower to mid 60s north to the lower to mid 70s south. Minimum relative humidities this afternoon are expected to be greater than 30 percent everywhere, up into the 50s and 60s across the north. With a weak cold front moving through the forecast area today, breezy west northwesterly winds are expected to develop in the afternoon, with speeds generally from 10 to 15 knots and gusts up to 25 knots. The highest winds are generally anticipated to be in the west and south central. A warming trend beginning Tuesday will see widespread high temperatures in the 80s, along with a few 90s in the southwest, by Thursday. With generally dry conditions, minimum relative humidities are expected to drop into 20s in the southwest and 30s elsewhere. Winds, becoming southerly through the later half of the week, also may become breezy on Wednesday and Thursday.
