Expect overnight lows from the lower 50s in northeastern Minnesota to the mid to upper 60s in southwestern South Dakota. Monday looks to be the warmest day for much of the Northern Plains, with highs mostly in the mid 80s to mid 90s. It will also be humid across the central and eastern Dakotas as well as Minnesota. Chances for severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening will mainly be focused from the James River Valley into northern and central Minnesota. The rest of the work week will bring seasonable temperatures with hit and miss thunderstorm chances through mid-week, with better chances for showers and thunderstorms Thursday into Friday. $$ rk
