However, levels are expected to remain below established flood stages, and any overflow along the river should be of minor nature. The Catoma Creek at The U.S. 331 Highway Bridge. * At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.9 feet. * Action stage is 17.0 feet. * Flood stage is 20.0 feet. * Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 4.1 feet Friday evening. * Impact...At 20.0 feet...Flooding of agricultural lands in the vicinity of the U.S. 331 Highway Bridge occurs. Another statement will be issued by Monday evening, or sooner if conditions warrant. Please stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or your local media for later statements concerning this event. It is emphasized that these forecasts are based on rainfall that has already occurred and on additional rainfall expected during the next 48 hours. If more rainfall than is currently forecast occurs it may become necessary to revise these forecasts upward. $$
