Hot and dry conditions expected Sunday. Min relative humidity values drops into the 14-20 percent range across the plains, urban corridor, and foothills. Winds are expected to be light. Therefore, critical fire weather conditions are not anticipated. Smoke dispersal will be Good. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sunday night through Thursday... A broad upper level ridge will remain over the southern U.S. through midweek. This will lead to very warm or hot conditions. Relative humidities will bottom out in the teens across the plains and in the upper teens to mid 20s in the higher terrain. Generally light winds are expected as the area remains under the ridge. A few showers or storms are possible Monday and Tuesday in the mountains, while the plains remain mostly dry.
